Who runs this site

This website is operated by Laumania ApS, the developer of Fireworks Mania, in Denmark. For anything on this page, including requests about your data, write to fireworksmania@laumania.net.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-30Q66SQ3S5) to see which pages people visit and whether the site is useful. It tells us things like which screenshots get looked at and how many visitors go on to the Steam store page.

It only runs if you accept it. Analytics storage is set to denied before the Google script is allowed to load, using Google Consent Mode. Until you choose "Accept", no analytics cookies are written.

We have also turned off advertising features. Nothing here is used for advertising, remarketing or profiling, and we do not sell or share data with anyone. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. Google is the processor for this data; see Google's privacy policy.

What gets stored on your device

Local storage. Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked on every page. Set regardless of your choice — remembering a "no" is what stops us asking again. No consent is needed for this, because without it the site cannot respect your decision.

Google Analytics cookies, used to tell repeat visits apart. Only set if you accept, and never before. Expire after two years.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings control — it is also in the footer of every page — to accept or decline at any time. Declining stops any further measurement. You can additionally clear the cookies for this site in your browser at any point.

Embedded video

Trailers are hosted on YouTube. The player is not loaded until you click play — before that you are only seeing an image served from this site, and YouTube receives nothing. When you do click, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube's own terms apply from that moment.

Hosting

The site is static and hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes standard server request data, including IP addresses, to serve the pages and protect the service. See GitHub's privacy statement. There is no database here, no accounts and no login.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data relates to you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority — in Denmark that is Datatilsynet. The lawful basis for analytics here is your consent, which is why nothing happens until you give it.

The game itself is a separate matter: purchases, refunds and your account are handled by Steam under Valve's privacy policy. In-game mod browsing goes through mod.io under their policy. This page covers this website only.
