Descriptions

One line

Light it up. Blow it up. No rules, no objectives — just fireworks.

Short

Fireworks Mania is a casual physics-based sandbox where you play around with fireworks, set up firework shows, or simply blow things up — alone or online with friends.

Long

Fireworks Mania is a small casual explosive simulator game where you can play around with fireworks, create firework shows, or just enjoy destroying things. Everything is driven by physics, so no two play sessions are ever the same. Play on your own or join friends in online co-op, and extend the game endlessly through the built-in Workshop, where thousands of community-made fireworks, props, maps and characters are a couple of clicks away.

Features

  • Physics-driven chaos. Every firework, spark and prop is simulated. Set up the same show twice and it will never play out quite the same way.
  • Ten categories of firework. Rockets, cakes, firecrackers, smoke, shells, mortars, fountains, tubes, novelties and props — wire them together with fuses and time the whole show.
  • Play online with friends. The Multiplayer Update added online co-op with proximity voice chat, so you can host a world and light the sky up together.
  • A built-in Workshop. Browse thousands of community-made fireworks, props, maps and characters from inside the game, powered by mod.io. Anyone who joins your world gets your mods downloaded automatically.
  • Make your own. The free Mod Tools let you build and publish your own fireworks and props in the Unity editor. No coding required.
  • No objectives, no pressure. There is nothing to win and nothing to lose. It is a sandbox built purely for messing around.

Common misconceptions

Stated plainly, because these come up often and are frequently reported incorrectly.

  • VR support. There are no current plans for VR.
